Improve Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)
Getting help at home or in the community is important for many people with disabilities. The University of Arizona Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities (UCEDD) is part of a national research study to help make HCBS services better.
In this study, the UCEDD conducts interviews to see how HCBS are helping people with disabilities live the lives they want, and they need to hear from you! To be interviewed, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a disability that you receive services or support for
Provide consent (or assent if you’re not your own legal guardian)
Each person is interviewed three times throughout a 1-year period. Interview sessions are 60-90 minutes long and can happen over videoconference or in person. Interviews are not recorded, and your name and information are not shared with anyone outside the study.
Every interviewee will get a $10 gift card for each interview, for a total of $30!
Your voice matters, and by participating in this study you will help improve HCBS services nationally.
