Are Disabled Women Being Held Back At Work?

Looking down at two women at desk, as they conduct business.

Disability EmpowHer Network recently conducted a study on the careers and leadership status of disabled women in the United States. The Report was appropriately published on International Women's Day and outlines the various barriers women with disabilities still face in career advancement and attaining leadership roles, citing age-old societal stereotypes, sexism, racism, and ableism that unfortunately persist in today's workplace. The document also provides employers with information, resources, and strategies on how to create a more inclusive, mutually rewarding workplace.
