Direct’s leadership team has more than 40 years of combined experience in marketing and developing programs that are fully accessible for diverse populations including those who are aging and people with disabilities. Our team includes staff who are certified ADA Coordinators (ADAC), with advanced certification in Health Care and Law Enforcement, and Certified Aging in Place Specialists (CAPS). Founded in 1980, Direct Access & Resource Center is one of the first organizations in the nation established to remove barriers and create access for people with diverse disabilities. We work closely with other nonprofits, businesses, and government entities to build knowledge and skills and help implement best practices that ensure usability for all. We’re passionate about sharing what we know to help increase access in communities throughout Arizona and around the country.
