Christopher Marshall

Chris was born and raised in Philadelphia, where he attended private Catholic schools until his admission to Bloomsburg University. While at Bloomsburg, Chris joined a fraternity, played some rugby, and met his wife.
Upon receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Chris began a career in the automotive industry. But fatefully, he switched to the health care industry where he spent over 17 years in the finance departments of two different nonprofit organizations.
Chris left the health care sector in 2015 to start a new venture, opening his own accounting firm specializing in nonprofit organizations and personal & business tax services.
Chris has been a member of Direct's financial team, providing accounting, budgeting, and audit guidance since 2015. Chris also is an IRS enrolled agent, a notary public, and member of the Pennsylvania Society of Tax & Accounting Professionals. And, if that wasn't enough, he also has taught accounting courses at a local university in Pennsylvania.
Chris is an avid cyclist and runner who participates in triathlons, marathons, and other cycling and running events when not working. In addition, he and his wife enjoy traveling, spending time on the New Jersey coast, and loving their dogs.
