Direct partnered with the Arizona Center for Disability Law (ACDL) to advocate to the City of Tucson about the issues and suggested changes for their e-scooter program. E-scooters are frequently left blocking sidewalks throughout the downtown, 4th Avenue, and U of A area. This can create a trip hazard for anyone, but absolutely creates barriers for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices, since often there is not enough room to travel safely.
