April is National Fair Housing Month!

This year, we celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. Signed into law on April 11, 1968, this landmark civil rights law made discrimination in housing transactions unlawful.

The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and familial status.

The Act aims to provide for fair housing throughout the country.

Fair Housing Month offers a time to recommit to expanding equal access to housing. We all have an opportunity to be a part of the transformative solution in providing equal service to all.

Join us in advocating with community leaders to help build thriving, inclusive communities.
